Based Evidence S.A.S. is a simplified joint-stock company incorporated under Colombian Law 1258 of 2008, with its principal domicile in Medellín, Antioquia, and indefinite duration. Its main corporate purpose comprises:

• The collection, analysis, synthesis and dissemination of scientific and medical data and evidence, with the aim of improving health nationally and internationally.
• The conduct of systematic literature reviews, epidemiological studies and other health-related research.
• The provision of health consultancy and advisory services, including qualitative research and pharmacovigilance support.
• Collaboration and partnerships with national and international bodies for access to and dissemination of epidemiological data and other information relevant to public health.
• The development and promotion of technologies, tools and platforms that facilitate the collection, analysis and presentation of medical and scientific evidence.
• The organisation and delivery of educational events, seminars and workshops to train professionals and organisations in evidence-based decision-making.
• Any other related or complementary activity contributing to the improvement of health and the advancement of evidence-based medicine, in Colombia and abroad.
